All-on-4 means we extract whatever needs to go, place four titanium implants per arch, and fit a fixed temporary bridge before you go home. By that evening you're eating, smiling and talking on the new teeth. Four to six months later we swap the temporary for the final lab-made bridge. The implants
Four Straumann posts, placed in the strongest bone.
We plan every position with a CBCT scan first. The posts go into the densest bone in your arch, which is where they're most likely to integrate and last. Straumann is the implant brand with the longest clinical track record. We use it because these implants need to last decades, not years.
Surgery day
A fixed temporary bridge, fitted before you go home.
You don't leave the clinic without teeth. The temporary bridge fits before you go home on the surgical day. By dinner you're eating, smiling, talking. By next week you're using them like teeth.
Sedation
IV sedation with a dedicated sedation nurse.
The surgical day itself you won't feel. IV sedation handles that. We have a dedicated sedation nurse on the monitoring equipment for the full surgery. This is the hospital-grade setup, not the "GA at a clinic" shortcut.
Month four to six
The final lab-made bridge, made in our own lab.
Acrylic-zirconia, made once the implants have integrated with the bone. Lighter than dentures. Fixed in place. Looks and feels like teeth. You won't think about it after the first month of wearing it.
Year one and after
A year of aftercare plus a five-year warranty.
Healing checks, hygienist visits, screw-torque checks, prosthesis cleans. All included for the first twelve months. After that, the implants and the prosthesis are warrantied for five years subject to recommended hygiene visits.

Turkey dentists can do good surgical work. The day itself isn't where the problems come in. All-on-4 is a big treatment. Sometimes it's the right one, sometimes it isn't, and we'll tell you straight which at the consultation.

- You're missing most or all of the teeth in an arch, or they're failing and can't be saved

- Most of your own teeth are healthy and savable. Single implants or a bridge may serve you better, for less, and we'll say so

Will it hurt?
The surgical day itself you won't feel. IV sedation handles that. For the next three to five days afterwards there's swelling and tenderness, controlled with standard painkillers (we prescribe what's needed). By the end of week one most patients are back to eating soft foods normally. Most rate it less painful than they were expecting.
How long does the whole process take?
Surgery day is about four to five hours, including sedation recovery. You walk out with a fixed temporary bridge. Then three to six months for the implants to integrate with bone. During this time you eat normally with the temporary. The final prosthesis is fitted at the four to six month mark. Total elapsed time start to finish: about five months.
What if an implant fails?
All-on-4 has a 95 to 98% five-year success rate when properly placed. If a single implant fails, the prosthesis still functions on the remaining three while we replace it. You don't go without teeth. Our five-year warranty covers replacement at no additional cost. Beyond five years, replacements are charged at material cost only, not full implant cost.
Why is this so much cheaper than Turkey though?
It isn't, on paper. Turkey clinics quote £4,000 to £6,000 per arch. But that headline price typically excludes flights, hotel for 7 to 14 days, two trips (placement plus final fit), CBCT, sedation, and anything that goes wrong afterwards. Add those in honestly and the total comes to over £8,000 with a clinic you can't reach on a Tuesday. Our £7,999 includes all of it. Same dentist for life.
Can I have it done if I currently wear dentures?
Yes. Dentures are one of the most common starting points. We take a CBCT scan to confirm there's enough bone for implant anchorage. Where bone has resorbed too far, we discuss bone grafting or a longer healing protocol. Roughly 90% of denture wearers are candidates without grafting.
What's the consultation actually like?
About 45 minutes. Dr Zain reviews your case, examines your existing teeth and gums, takes intraoral photographs, and books a CBCT if it's clinically indicated. We talk through what's involved, the realistic timeline, and the full written quote. No sales pressure. No decision required on the day. Most patients go away with the quote, think about it, and book treatment one to four weeks later.
