A whiter smile, done safely.
The take-home whitening kit, done the proper way round: a dentist checks your teeth and gums first, then you whiten at home over about two weeks with trays made for your teeth and gel you can't buy over a counter. Several shades brighter, supervised from the first check.

Dentist whitening, at the price of the shop kind.
You've seen the strips at the chemist and the kits on the internet, and you've seen clinic prices in the hundreds. £199 sits between them. A dentist confirms your teeth can take it, the trays are made for your mouth, and the gel is the strength only a dentist can legally give you. Here's everything that's in it.
A dentist checks your teeth can take it.
Teeth and gums, checked in person. Whitening on unhealthy gums or hidden decay hurts, and no shop kit checks first. This is the step that makes the whole thing safe, and it's the step you can't buy in a box.
Made for your teeth, not "one size".
We take an impression of your mouth and make trays that fit your teeth exactly. That's what keeps the gel on the enamel and off your gums, and it's why dentist trays whiten evenly where strips leave patches.
The strength shops can't sell.
UK law caps what a chemist can sell you at a fraction of what a dentist can prescribe. That's the whole reason shop kits disappoint: it isn't your teeth, it's the gel. Ours is the real thing, with instructions matched to your case.
Gently brighter, night by night.
You wear the trays at home over about two weeks, and your teeth brighten gradually, several shades for most people. Gradual is the comfortable way: less sensitivity, more control, and you stop when you like the shade you see.
Top-ups at £50 a session, whenever you want.
Your trays are yours to keep. When the coffee eventually starts winning again, a £50 top-up brings the shade back. No new impressions, no starting over.
Shop kits skip the dentist. The dentist is the part that keeps it safe.
Strips and internet kits go straight to the gel. Nobody has checked your gums, nobody has looked for the cracked filling the gel will find for you, and nobody is there when your teeth turn sensitive on day three. That's how whitening horror stories happen. Not because whitening is dangerous, but because whitening with nobody watching is. Here's how the two compare on the things that matter.
Whitening by anyone other than a dental professional is illegal in the UK for a reason. The beauty-salon prosecutions make the news every year. The rule exists because gel this effective needs someone qualified checking the mouth it goes into.
Several shades, in about two weeks.
Is this right for you?
Whitening is the simplest thing we do, but it isn't for every mouth. Here's the honest version of who the take-home kit suits, and who it doesn't.
A good fit if…
- Your teeth have dulled from coffee, tea, red wine, or just years of being teeth
- Your own natural teeth do the smiling, not crowns or veneers at the front
- Your gums are healthy, or you're happy for us to sort them first
- You'd rather brighten gradually at home than sit in a chair for an hour
Probably not, if…
- Your front teeth carry crowns, veneers or large white fillings. They don't whiten, so the colours would stop matching. We'll talk through what would actually work instead
- Your gums are sore or bleeding. We treat that first, then whiten
- You're pregnant or breastfeeding. The sensible answer is simply to wait
- You're under 18. Whitening is adult-only in the UK, by law
If whitening isn't your best option, we'll tell you at the free consultation and point you to what is. No deposit, no pressure, no hard feelings.

Kind Words from Our Patients
Real reviews from patients across our Leeds and Manchester practices.
Such an incredible service! Attentive staff, especially Filipina - a really friendly face and the dentists are superb. Dr Zain Chisty is incredibly talented. Very honest and helpful with treatment options available. Genuinely a five star service.
Best experience at the dentist I've ever had (no exaggerating). Dr Abdul Ahad was absolutely amazing, very welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. Great service and great conversation. Reception greeting and hospitality was outstanding also!
Had an emergency appointment and they were absolutely amazing, so thorough when examining me and I didn't feel rushed at all. Made me feel at ease immediately. The best level of dentist care I have received and would highly recommend!
I was extremely nervous and she was so kind, friendly and reassuring she made me feel so calm. Zayn and Areeba were very kind and very understanding. Did an amazing job, were very patient with me. Best dentist clinic I have been to!
Did a wonderful job when he needed an after-hours dental treatment immediately. They were kind, professional, efficient, and did really quality work. We're so lucky to have found them when we needed it. Would definitely recommend this clinic.
We took our daughter in for a black stain on her teeth, and the dentist cleaned it very nicely. He was gentle, patient, and made sure she wasn't hurt or uncomfortable at all. The clinic was professional and the service was excellent.
I had a root canal treatment done by Dr Zain Iqbal and had a very positive experience. He explained the procedure clearly, made sure I was comfortable throughout, and the treatment was much smoother than I expected. The staff were also very friendly and professional.
Very impressed with the professionalism of the staff present. Really happy with how they dealt with my wife's wisdom tooth extraction as she was quite nervous. Her experience was absolutely painless. Thank you!!
Great service from reception to the actual procedure. Got a tooth extraction done. Was made to feel comfortable throughout. Was able to book an appointment quick and was offered various payment options including interest-free installments. Decent parking available too.
Sully at UrgentCare Dental was amazing. Explained everything in detail and made me feel at ease throughout my experience. All the staff at this surgery were so polite and caring. I am considering a health plan with them after today. Highly recommend.
Sulayman and team were excellent. Came in late on as I had broken my tooth on a chocolate bar — they were very helpful and were able to get me the correct treatment within the same hour! They even looked after my partner and daughter whilst I was receiving treatment. Super service, will definitely be back in the future!
My front tooth had been knocked out, and after many years of neglecting my teeth I was absolutely terrified about going to see a dentist. Everything was professionally and very sympathetically dealt with by all staff. I've never had such a good experience with a dentist. The problem with my front tooth was all sorted within an hour and I have an affordable plan to deal with other dental issues.
I had emergency tooth extraction with Dr. Zain on Sunday evening at 8pm, and I must say that was a World Class Service without stress and pain! It took less than 20 minutes and I walked out with no pain at all. Only £20 for consultation, very good discount for my extraction, plus a free full mouth check booked for next week. If you struggle with money, they offer an excellent payment plan. Highly recommend.
I booked an emergency appointment here as I had some concerns about my gums. I was extremely nervous as I hadn't been to the dentist in several years. The girls on reception were so welcoming and the dentist made me feel relaxed and listened to. We took many breaks during the deep clean which I highly appreciated. I'll be coming back for regular appointments now I know how calm and accommodating the team are.
I woke up in excruciating pain, needed tooth extraction. Sorted me out with no pain or anything. Gave professional advice, seen me within 10 minutes — bearing in mind this was 1am. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Me and my family will definitely be joining their family plan for ongoing treatments.
I came into this clinic really nervous about treatment but left feeling well looked after by Sara from the second I walked in. Dr Zain really took the time to explain my options clearly so I feel like I made the best informed decision for myself. Along with Ariba, they worked well together and were efficient with their care. Thanks guys!
I booked online at 9.30pm and made an appointment at 10pm, came in with pulsating toothache. Zain the dentist was exceptional — being a nervous dentist-goer, I had phase 1 root canal. The process was explained to me prior and during, and I was made to feel very comfortable. What a great service. I've been booked in for a follow up free of charge in a week.
My husband came in for a last minute appointment today and they fit him in without any issues. He had a tooth removed and was very nervous but was put at ease by the amazing dentist who talked him through every step. Ria on reception was exceptional — she assisted him setting up a payment plan with a welcoming smile. Very modern and clean. My husband is no longer in pain thanks to this amazing team.
Having a huge fear of the dentist, today couldn't have gone any better for an emergency appointment. Dr Abid put me at ease through the whole process. He considered my fear and had a great attitude towards me. Bonus that you can book the emergency appointment online and not wait in a phone queue.
Can not praise UrgentCare Dental enough. Christmas Eve 3.30pm, filling fell out, gum swollen. With it being Christmas my dentist was shut for 5 days. Phoned UrgentCare Dental and was seen within the hour. X-ray taken, informed my tooth had cracked and gum was infected. The tooth was removed and I was given another appointment for 2 weeks to check everything was ok. The staff were amazing — very welcoming and informative.
Best emergency dentist. The staff are all so lovely. Very efficient, small team working to help everyone. Had to get a root canal and they were absolutely brilliant and I'm fully out of pain. So happy. Absolutely lovely staff.
Dr Zain and all his dental support staff were fantastic. Got me an appointment within hours, left with my tooth fixed by midday. Highly recommended. Thanks again!
Went for an urgent dental appointment and it's amazing that they offer them late in the evening. All staff are lovely, caring and considerate. Options for treatment were given beforehand and they made me feel completely at ease.
Zain and Phillipina were amazing, very supportive as I am terrified of the dentists. They extracted two teeth very quickly and I am forever grateful! They are now my new dentists. Thank you again.

What people ask us
Will it make my teeth sensitive?
Some people feel a day or two of temperature sensitivity during the course, and it settles when the course ends. This is the other reason the take-home route is gentle: you control the pace. Skip a night, carry on the next. If you're prone to sensitive teeth, tell us at the consultation and we'll match the gel and the schedule to you.
How white will my teeth go?
Several shades brighter for most people, and we take your shade before and after so you can see the difference rather than guess at it. What we won't do is promise a specific Hollywood shade, because honest whitening brightens the teeth you have. Most people are surprised how far their own teeth go.
How long does it last?
It depends on the coffee, the tea and the red wine, honestly. For most people the shade holds well for a year or two, fading gradually rather than suddenly. Because your trays are yours to keep, a £50 top-up session brings it back whenever you feel it slipping. No new impressions, no starting again.
Will it whiten my crowns, veneers or fillings?
No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. Whitening works on natural enamel only. If you have visible crowns, veneers or white fillings at the front, whitening around them can leave colours mismatched. We check exactly this at the consultation and tell you straight what would and wouldn't work for your mouth.
Is whitening safe for my enamel?
Dentist-supervised whitening has decades of evidence behind it and doesn't damage enamel. The horror stories come from unregulated kits and beauty-salon whitening, which is illegal in the UK. The safety lives in the check first, the trays that keep gel off your gums, and having a dentist to call. That's the whole reason it's a dental treatment.
