Cosmetic Dentist in Manchester: Bonding and Implant Prices
One Manchester practice lists two kinds of composite bonding on the same price list: smaller edge bonding from £250, and full-coverage bonding at £450 a tooth. That's nearly double the price for what sounds like the same treatment, and once you see why, every other cosmetic price in Manchester gets a lot easier to read.
So let's start there, then line up what the city's practices charge for bonding, implants, aligners, veneers and whitening, with our own prices right beside them.
What Cosmetic Dentistry Costs in Manchester
On 15 October 2026 we read the price lists of four city practices whose prices are published for their Manchester clinic alone. Here's the spread of their figures, with ours alongside. Most are "from" prices, the cost of the simplest case, so your own quote may land higher.
| Treatment | Published by Manchester practices | UrgentCare Dental |
|---|---|---|
| Composite bonding | from £200 to £450 a tooth | from £199 a tooth |
| Single implant, crown included | from £2,600 to from £3,140 | £1,999, crown included |
| Full arch on implants | from £10,995 an arch to from £15,509 | All-on-4 from £7,999 an arch |
| Invisalign, both arches | £3,295 to £8,503 | our own clear aligners from £1,999 |
| Porcelain veneers | from £595 to from £1,053 | £695 a tooth |
| In-surgery whitening | £625 | £549 |
That aligner row sets Invisalign against the aligners we make ourselves in our UK lab, so its two prices are for different makes. Two practices also list aligner prices that could come in under our both-arches figure, without saying whether they cover one arch or two: Invisalign Express from £1,500, and Invisalign-style aligners from £1,795. The £15,509 full-arch price doesn't say how many arches it covers either. Beyond the aligners, veneers are the only treatment where a Manchester practice lists less than we charge: one lists porcelain veneers from £595, against our £695 a tooth.
Edge Bonding or Full Bonding?
Back to that bonding puzzle. Edge bonding is the little job: a thin strip of tooth-coloured resin built up along a chipped or worn biting edge. Full-coverage bonding takes the resin right across the visible face of the tooth to change its shape or colour, and that means far more material and far more careful sculpting, which is where the extra money goes.
Both are called composite bonding, and that's why two quotes for "bonding" can sit hundreds of pounds apart without either practice being out of line. Before you compare, ask which kind a price means, and how many teeth it covers.
Composite Bonding at Our Manchester Clinic
At our clinic, composite bonding in Manchester is from £199 a tooth. The dentist shapes the resin by hand, layer by layer, then hardens each layer with a blue light, so you leave the same day with the finished result, and in most cases nothing is filed off your own tooth first.
Resin is a little softer and more porous than enamel, which is why bonding can pick up stains over time and needs a polish now and then. Weighing it up against porcelain? The free bonding versus veneers guide we put together sets the two side by side.
What an Implant Price Should Include
One Manchester price list spells out what its implant prices leave out. It says its implant figures are starting prices for the implant work itself, and that most cases also need some combination of bone grafting, a temporary denture or bridge, gum grafts or a surgical guide. That's honest, and it's the question to ask anywhere: what does this number actually buy?
Ours is £1,999 for the finished tooth: the titanium implant in the bone, the abutment that links it to the tooth, and the crown you bite with, plus the 3D scan and every follow-up. If your jaw needs a bone graft first, that's quoted separately and agreed with you before anything starts. Our Manchester dental implants page lays the whole thing out.
For a full arch, All-on-4 in Manchester starts from £7,999 an arch. Four implants carry a fixed bridge fitted the same day they go in, and after a few months of healing that's swapped for the final bridge made in our lab, with both bridges in the price.
Clear Aligners at Our Manchester Clinic
Clear aligners straighten teeth the way you'd climb a staircase, one small step at a time rather than one giant leap. Every tray in the set is shaped a hair differently from the last, so wearing them in order walks your teeth into place, and you swap to the next one every week or two.
One arch starts from £999 with us, and both arches from £1,999, and a hygiene appointment worth £120 plus whitening worth £350 come with every course. For a wider look at the local options, see our guide to clear aligners in Manchester, and our Manchester aligners page covers what's included at our clinic.
Veneers and Whitening
A porcelain veneer is a sliver of ceramic about as thin as a fingernail, crafted in a dental lab and fixed over the front of a tooth. Ours are £695 a tooth. Porcelain goes through a kiln much as pottery does, and that firing leaves it with a glassy surface that shrugs off stains far longer than resin.
Whitening usually comes before any of that, because the gel only works on natural enamel. Bonding and porcelain stay the shade they were made in, so the whitening happens first, and every new piece is made to match the brighter colour. Whitening in the chair is £549 with us, and if you'd rather whiten at home, our Manchester whitening page shows that option.
