Why we came to Oadby
Until now, there was no UrgentCare Dental clinic in Leicestershire. When we looked at the city in October 2026, only 20 of its 60 NHS practices were taking on new adult patients. What counts as a dental emergency?
Any severe pain, bleeding that won't stop, a knocked-out or broken tooth, swelling, or a lost filling or crown all count. If you're not sure, just call us and we'll talk it through.
Can I get a same-day appointment, or just walk in?
Both work. We're open 24/7 and aim to see emergency patients within an hour of calling, and walk-ins are welcome. Booking online or ringing 0113 868 3185 first just means we can have a chair and a dentist ready for you.
How much does it cost?
The emergency assessment is £20 and includes your X-rays. Any treatment is quoted clearly and agreed before we start: a simple extraction from £149, root canal from £399, a filling from £149. For bigger work, 0% finance is available, subject to status.
What if I've knocked a tooth out?
Pick it up by the crown, not the root. If it's dirty, rinse it gently in milk or saline, and please don't scrub it. Try to pop it back in the socket; if you can't, keep it in milk and call us straight away. The first hour matters most.
When are you open?
24/7, 365 days a year. Evenings, weekends, bank holidays, Christmas Day: whenever it goes wrong in Leicester, we're here.
Do you serve Wigston, Knighton and Great Glen?
Yes. We're on The Parade in Oadby, about five minutes' drive from Wigston and Knighton on a clear road and around seven from Great Glen.
