A root canal has a bad reputation it doesn't deserve. Modern root canal treatment is nothing like the myths — most patients say it's no worse than a large filling, and it lets you keep your own tooth instead of losing it.
When infection reaches the nerve of your tooth, the only options are root canal or extraction. Root canal cleans out the infected pulp, seals the canal, and preserves the tooth structure. Almost everyone who expected it to be awful walks out surprised by how calm it was.

Composite is our default for everything: new cavities, replacing old mercury amalgam fillings, repairing chips, rebuilding broken edges. It bonds tightly to the tooth, looks natural, and handles temperature changes better than the older materials most of us grew up with.

Composite bonding and veneers are the two most common ways to improve how your teeth look without orthodontics. Bonding is composite resin applied directly to your teeth to correct chips, gaps, or shape; veneers are thin porcelain shells bonded to the front for a more dramatic transformation.
